Our in house blend of single phytoplankton cultures combined at peak concentrations and never diluted. This blend has everything you could ask for! Contains the following phytoplanktons:
Green phytoplanktons: Nannochloropsis oculata,Tetraselmis chui, Chlorella, Dunaliella tertiolecta, Japanese Chlorella.
Golden phytoplanktons: Tisochrysis lutea, Pavlova, Isochrysis galbana.
Red phytoplankton: Rhodomonas salina, Rhodomonas lens, Porphyridium creuntum*
Diatom strains include: Chaetocerors calcitrans, Pheaodactylum tricornutum, Thalassiosira weissfloggii.
This is an exceptional mix of phytoplanktons that will make your corals feel like they are back in the ocean. Feeding this blend will help reduce nitrates, phosphate and silicates in your water column while providing the essential building blocks most corals feed on naturally. Rhodomonas is the essential building block to add more color to your corals, a strain that you that's hard to come by.

I’ve been buying 3 diff types of Phyto, diff types es/mixes of pods & my rotifers from 3-4 diff vendors for a while now (4 species blend from Algae Depot on eBay, red & gold from TSA Reef Genetics -which never seemed to last longer than a few days before the rhodo turned green - and pods/rotifers from Pod Your Reef (AlgaeBarn before that) and a TON of random vendors on eBay too hoping I’d find something I really liked… but NEVER AGAIN. Not only was I never all to happy with any of their products, but I was also wasting money on all the different shipping too. Anyway, I stumbled onto Reef Legends thru my Shop App, n thought I’d give it a try, as they have every type of phyto single strains I’ve ever heard of and many that I never heard of before, along with a 10 species blend that’s just amazing. And the pods and rotifers are also better than any other vendor I’ve ever used. And over the years, I’ve tried MANY. This is my new go to one stop shop for all my planktonic needs!!! I use this stuff periodically to keep the good bacteria up in my 150 gallon. Has a strong odor of eggs or sulfate so make sure you plan accordingly for a few hours when using.
