Very Impressive from the care in packaging to the quality of coral.
Ordered a bottle of the pod to blend and the live phytoplankton. The package arrived well insulated, and on time and the pods were swimming around aggressively, and phytoplankton has a nice medium to dark green color.
I plan on using with legends for my next pod and phyto requirement!
Vendor leaves a lot to be desired. needs serious work on customer service skills. don't bother as other vendors sell the same stuff and have much better response when you have issues. Not worth the votes of my dollars anymore that's for sure.
Time line of my interactions with him:
Friday: afternoon – got the delivery promptly unpacked it.
Saturday: morning I sent emails about the phyto I had order was all dead and clumped at the bottom of the jar and fluid was clear, accidentally sent twice and which I goofed up so I called the number. He said what I ordered could not be cultured and that required overnight air delivery, I think. So apparently, I order the stuff despite it being single strain phyto it was for feeding and not culturing and I had it sent wrong anyhow. Ok, fine – if I screwed up then I’ll order the right stuff…
Sunday: I get a email with just a send videos here instead address . Video sent that morning.
Monday: no response from him -sent email asking what should I order
Tuesday: nothing
Wednesday (mind you this started with phone and email on staturday) I asked if he still wanted to do business as my questions about what to order were still unanswered. I get a bitchy response saying how busy he was and if I wanted answers I could pay 150.00hr or wait until maybe Sunday when he would have time. Complained I had “complex emails”, I mean complex clarification of what I should specifically order and spend more money with him – how dare I ask such a question and expect a response until a week later if he found time and got around to it right?
I sent email because his cell phone was cutting in and out and had trouble hearing him. This is fine and cell signals can be a problem for anyone so no biggy? I had just spent over 100.00 and had an issues and was trying to send an email asking questions about WHAT TO ORDER from him.
I ask 3 questions 1- what should I order? Asking what to spend money on with him again – how dare I, right?? 2- He mentioned an air pump in my initial phone call and I thought he said he might sell them so 2nd question was “what pump did you say and how can I order it from you?” Again, how dare I ask for yet more information on how to spend more money with him. And 3rd question was simply “what microscope do you recommend”, because he mentioned in the initial phone a microscope and asked what the samples looked like under it that he had sent. Apparently this constitutes difficult and demanding emails to answers as was his response to one of my reviews. Sorry, but no – these are simple questions about which a customer is asking what more he should order from you. If that is a problem, if you cannot tell a customer who wants to give you more money, what to order, then maybe you shouldn’t run a business in sales.
I own that I might have ordered the “wrong” single strain phyto to culture and compounded that with 2 day not overnight delivery. But to go back to the vendor and ask what more to spend with him, after having issues, and then getting no response until you challenge that lack of response half a week after the issue was brought up in the first place??? Ya – buy from someone else.

I am confused, in your emails the pods did great! You sent multiple long emails and even on our phone call on a Saturday stated how well the pods did and look. You had questions on phyto and those were answered then, you wanted specific questions answered and I asked for a video, which did not focus on the phyto but how to grow your pods, amphipods and then phyto. During our phone call there were specific questions I had for you which were not answered in that video.
Our phone number is listed and you can always call to get an answer, I don't screen phone calls. LIke your review your emails are all over the place.
Moving forward there is a new consult module people can purchase to get the help you are after.
