Pod Culturing Kit

Our 2 Pod culturing kit does not ship for FREE, shipping charges will be applied at checkout.

We know it's expensive to buy pods every couple of weeks or months. We've collaborated with Reefer Dan to put together a simple kit. Culture your own pods with ease, everything you need is included in the kit. Plus you'll receive a special **discount on 1 gallon phytoblend bags when you buy are kit. Detailed instructions are included in the kit.  

We do recommend culturing 2 Tigriopus vessels as you'll harvest one vessel every other week. If culturing all 3 pods, TIsbe, Apocyclops & Tigriopus we recommend buying the 4 vessel kit. 

When purchasing the kit, we recommend buying the kit, waiting for it to arrive. Placing your pod order after your kit arrives to make sure everything safely. We will send you a discount code for 16 ounce bottles of pods to get your pod populations taking off. 

Each kit will come with the selected amount of jars, Aquatop AP-20 air pump, valve for each kit size, lids that have been drilled for rigid tubing, rigid tubing and one 25' of Lees clear airline tubing

When you have the culturing kit in your cart. We recommend 50, 120 & 250 sizes minimum to harvest pods. We use a complete set when we harvest as the larger sieves help collect and remove large chunks of phytoplankton.
